When a young serving girl named Bella returns to the prosperous kingdom of Camelot after two years of absence, she discovers that many things have changed. Times are darker than they used to be, and there is danger at every turn. Creatures, bandits, sorcerers and men alike will stop at nothing to get what they want out of the kingdom.

Eager to discover who her mother is, Bella constantly searches for information about her past. But Bella's past is darker and more complicated than she or any of her new friends in Camelot could have anticipated.

On top of all of these struggles, Bella finds herself falling deeply in love for the handsome, yet extremely arrogant Prince Arthur.
 
Profound Bond is a journey of romance, fantasy, adventure, sword-fighting and magic. It is based on the T.V. show Merlin, and set roughly near the end of season two.
