A story about Mo Yuan and Bai Qian

The story uses most of the details in the tv drama. Bai Qian and Ye Hua are still engaged.  And now High God Mo Yuan is missing.

This is my first attempt at writing a fanfic. Reading and re-reading all the Mo Yuan and Bai Qian stories from my fav Ten Miles writers inspired me. I have also taken on some of the rich background they have created.

From the moment he appeared Mo Yuan had me swooning. The ending of the tv drama shocked me - I really though Bai Qian and Mo Yuan would be together, especially considering she spent 70 000 years waiting for him and feeding him her heart's blood. That she paid little attention to him on his return or in Ye Hua's absence also made no sense. That's what made me try this.

Strictly Ye Hua and Bai Qian 50,000 years ago, a little golden lotus shriveled and died in its lotus pond, leaving its owner bereft and heart broken. Unsure of why the lotus had suddenly died or even if something else had happened to it, the owner disappeared into seclusion to seek answers. This story will be based off of the drama Eternal Love: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I love Mo Yuan and Bai Qian too much and their stories keep circling in my head with a bunch of what-ifs. In this instance, Bai Qian never helped seal Qing Cang's bell which sent her to the mortal realm where she met Ye Hua. This story takes place just as Mo Yuan is about to wake up and goes from there. I am not Chinese and I do not know all of the myths that are involved when it comes to this world. Please excuse me while I use some creative leeway that may not make complete sense as I try to fill in the blanks.
