We tend to examine where we've gone wrong, what we've achieved, and what lessons we might have think we've learned. Some might even hope that by looking back, we can prevent ourselves from repeating the mistakes of the past. Yet... we contradict ourselves, giving rise to the familiar adage: history repeats itself. For centuries, two souls have been ensnared by a curse. Fates entwined in ways neither can escape. One must always betray. One must always kill. The Order has long hunted these two souls, for theirs is the only altered DNA capable of powering an ancient relic, which is an artifact born of an even older tale: the story of The River. And when these cursed souls meet again, unaware of the history they've shared, the cycle begins anew. Old wounds ache with fresh pain. Trust dissolves like smoke. His mistress
Loving him was the cruelest kind of torment-a love that lived in the shadows, one that could never bask in the warmth of the sun. I was nothing more than a stolen moment, a whispered name in the dark, a secret he tucked away between the life he had built and the one he wished he could have. I knew, deep down, that I was a fracture in his story, a fleeting escape from the weight of his reality. And yet, I still clung to him, to the illusion that for a few precious hours, he was mine. But the truth was relentless-it came in the form of unanswered texts, in the way he dressed hurriedly after loving me, in the way he said her name with the same tenderness he once gave me. I had given him my heart, knowing he would never be able to keep it, and yet, I loved him still. Loved him as I watched him walk away, loved him as he returned to the arms of the woman he truly belonged to, loved him as I drowned in the loneliness he left behind. Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Complete

Have you ever felt like life wasn't enough, like you were going through the motions day in, day out, all you wanted was a change. Well one day I woke up and made that change, I was no longer the well behaved boy that did as he was told, I was a new person and I wanted to do things my way.
