Everyone knows the story of the heartless and cruel stepmother who would lock their stepdaughters away up in the high tower or treat them like slaves until a dashing Prince arrives or the courageous Knight saves the princess. Nevertheless, this story is different.
Aramintha Tremaine is notorious around every kingdom for being the impossibility difficult to get through also for being a stunning beauty- an incredible challenge for any man wanting the princess but she is far from wicked and cruel, in fact she isn't even a stepmother but a governess to the princess Sarafina. Amamintha has been dragged into 'pretending' to being Sarafina's pretend stepmother in order to scare away any potential suitors and this has gone on for quite a successful while..until Prince Farran arrives.
Far far away in the kingdom of Alynthi lives Prince Farran the fifth, a man willing to take any challenge and when he heard of the stories of the men who failed to rescue the princess he decides he himself is going to take the challenge, but once he laid eyes on Aramintha Tremaine he knew he wouldn't want the princess as his bride but Aramintha instead.
