Referihm. The worlds largest country, split in half by two kingdoms - The Eris and the Drasil Kingdom. Both are locked in a never-ending war for control of Referihm - the battlefield polluted with remnants of magical warfare: craters, bodies, and elementals roam.
Deep within the Drasil territory resides the small town of Breckonfull, a large mining community near a mountain. In it lives Octavio Makeinu, an 18-year-old shop owner with an affinity to one of the most boring magic - water. He spends his days selling all sorts of wares and equipment to passing adventurers and other townsfolk, eventually digging himself a large hole of debt. The story of Octavio begins with a simple trip to the market.
This story is ongoing and updates periodically. I have a lot on my plate with school and a job, so I can't update very often. I apologise.
Currently on hold, as I don't know if I want to continue it. I've been thinking of other stories to write too.

The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one.
