So, this is NOT my Danganronpa killing game fanfic. Which seems obvious, but just making sure That's clear. I am still working hard on that! I haven't started the actual writing of it, still putting the pieces together.

So this is something I want to try out since I absolutely ADORE this ship with every fiber of my soul. Something that isn't OC x Character like my usual deal. This story takes place in Hope's Peak Academy before the killing game and without Junko or Mukuro, since yknow, they just messed everything up. (Mukuro deserved better)
Anyways. this story follows Kyoko as a main character and her developing crush on Makoto. Enjoy!

Well this story is told by Makoto Naegi and Kyoko Kirigiri as they go through what happened to them after they left despair high school. The main characters are: Kyoko Kirigiri Makoto Naegi Byakuya Togami Toko Fukawa/ Genocider Sho Aoi Asahina (Hina) This is a fanfiction based on Danganronpa after the first season finished, it doesn't follow the Anime or video game closely and the majority of it is entirely made up. Some of the characters mentioned (later on, most of the characters) are my own creations and didn't appear originally in the franchise. **be prepared for a long story as currently I am writing chapters in the 60's, each chapter comes to nearly 2000 words. I hope you enjoy the story, all of the chapters have been written in advance so I should be publishing them frequently until it catches up** **I have included swear words through out the story, so if that will offend you then don't read it. The world's biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history started that day, due to that specific class. Well, that's what everyone thought at first. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know. If that's what people want, I wouldn't be against it or anything. I'm just, really bad at romance lmao. And also this'll be prey family friendly, with just some swearing. Because tbh I really, REALLY hate fan service based things? Yeah, that's not the correct term, but I'm pretty sure you can realize what I'm talking about.
