Spirits, gods, curses, fate; Hasimi has heard these words her entire life, often in connection with her, but never put much stock in them. For her, life was about her family, her clan, and the thrill of battle. But one day the small world of the valley she calls home is opened to the world by a war-chief on the rise who promises to unite all the rider clans and lead them in the conquest of the world. Worlds. It's something that no one questions, where they're from, that is. They all think that they are all from earth, but Kila knows better. In her dreams Kila sees other worlds and people living their lives. Lives that she, herself could be living; last night she dreamt of a world not far away. On the world of Enthrum, in the kingdom of Sathreph; war is waging over the metal stones; that fit in the palm of your hand, they have symbols on them that represent different spirits, gods, and guardians. If the stone allows you to know its name and it is spoken aloud, then you are able to summon it as a friend. The stones can see deep into your heart and understand what you are thinking; they can tell darkness from light and will only obey you if they take a liking to you. Many people of this world are going to war over the stones and are using them to fight.
