Logan Shay was just a normal, run of the mill firefighter, when one thing after another goes haywire. The event will change her and her fellow firefighters forever if they make it out in one piece. Is she going to be one of the 343 firefighters that don't make it out of the building?
Many questions hover over her. Over and over again she thought:
Will she make it out to see my family?
Is her boyfriend alive and if he is, will he make it out?
What happens after this? Will she still want to be a firefighter?
One constant thing over it all is her family at the fire department. Can she count on them to have her back? Let's hope so.

A/N: September 11th is a day that will live forever in our minds. Unfortunately, many people lost their lives and family members because of this tragic event. This is a fictional story about some of the firefighters affected in more ways than the physical effects of it all. As the author of this story, I feel like I should say, 9/11 has a huge impact on me and my thoughts and how I function daily. I was very inspired by the day and the emotions it brought up so I wrote this.

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that.
