As Emily and Jake set out on a road trip in attempts to lessen the strain they have on their relationship, Jake seems to add a little more when he invites his cousin Kelsey and her friend Kimmy to tag along. Not liking the way Kimmy and Jake are with one another, they later on during the trip pick up a guy named Luke along the way and in return he offers them free accommodation at his father's cabins he rents out to back packers, the cosy cabins situated on a beautiful bit of land even Emily can't resist.
