Taking place after the gun down of Sandra White and arrest of Jenny Peterson who killed the Happytime Gang. Phil Phillips has his job back as police detective along with his partner Connie Edwards whilst still doing part time as a PI and now dating his secretary Bubbles. They meet teen Amber the leader of a puppet rights activist group with the familiar faces of Jacinto and James that Phil knows as fellow relatives of Happytime Gang cast members Gofer and Lyle.Amber gets kicked out by her Baptist parents for being a Puppets Rights Activist and being gay,dating a female puppet named Jade. Phil takes her under his wing learning about the hardships of being a good father figure when Jade,Jacinto and James goes missing right after the news of Jenny escaping prison with two other inmates is out. Things get very dangerous as Phil's ex girlfriend could be messing with him angry at the fact he and Connie caught her and that he now is with Bubbles. It's up to them to save Ambers girlfriend and their new friends.
