They say the Fox family is cursed, or just a family of weirdos that you shouldn't get too close to. For generations the family has lived in the small city of Kennedy, always keeping to themselves, never engaging much with the community. They've always been the blacksheep of the area, even though there's only one family left. People usually leave them be, but everyone knows they're freaks.

That's what people say about us, anyway.

Cipher Fox has a secret. Not a terrible one, or even one that's hard to hide. But it's a secret that has ostracized her from her classmates since she was a child, one that has earned her the nickname the Eye Patch Girl.

Cipher's only goal is to get through her last two years of high school without fuss and then move as far away as possible from her hometown. It's a tale as old as time. She ignores her abilities despite them growing stronger over the years, despite the fact that they'll never fade no matter how much she wishes they would.

Then a new kid moves into town. And someone from the past appears. And then, people start getting hurt. And Cipher's world is forever changed.
