"You...? Cassius...?" I asked the ten-year-old kid who looked exactly like Cassius and he was crying. "Amelia, don't leave me. I beg you." He said as tears continued to flow and with that cute pleading face. *thump* M-my heart...my heart skipped a beat. I'm not a sadist but why is this crying cute face of his so adorable? It made me want to tease him more. To think that this person in front of me who's become a child, begging and crying is the rumored tyrant king, Cassius Pearson, and my mate. "Then Cassius, why not make a deal with me?" --------------------------------- Amelia has always been on the run. When she was little, her pack had been attacked by their enemies and burned down. She had managed to escape with the help of her mother. The reason why she's running away is because of a secret that needs to be hidden from everyone. A secret that could get her and the people she loves, killed. With the help of a family friend, she was sent to California where the rumored and feared beast currently resides, King Cassius. Cassius is a Lycan and a descendant of one of the three Lycans that was first made. He is the Alpha of one of the largest and most powerful pack in the world, the Crépuscule pack, and one of the Ten Kings. He was famous for killing his enemies ruthlessly without mercy, earning him the title 'The Tyrant King'. Everyone thinks that he is a beast, a monster in the stories their parents told their children. Little did they know, the King was hiding something. It can either be a weakness or a strength. What happens when the moon goddess pairs them up? A cold-blooded man who kills to satisfy the starving beast inside him, and a woman who leaves a path of destruction and ran away to survive. One thing they did, the two made a simple deal. But is it really that simple? Even that deal holds secrets. Secrets that can either be a blessing or a curse.

I glared up at him my eyes narrowed, "Excuse me?" I was beyond livid by the words that just came out of his mouth. My glare didn't falter when Parker towered over me, clenching his jaw while trapping me against his desk. "You heard me." Parker's voice was low and intimidating that it made me feel so small. But I wasn't going to let him get to me. Standing up taller, I snapped, "I will not be your personal toy, available for you to do just as you please! I do not want to be held captive against my will, and not even have a say in anything. To be honest, I don't even want a mate." "You will do everything and anything I say, do you hear me?" Parker growled grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him. Without even thinking I said the first thing that came to my head but meant every word. "I, Jasmine Davis, reject you Alpha Parker Mason, as my mate." * Jasmine Davis is the daughter of the Beta of the Moonlit Waters Pack. She's sarcastic and having a mate is that last thing on her mind. Jasmine gets the attention of most of the male population in her pack but she ignores them. What happens when Jasmine's mate happens to be the ruthless Alpha of the neighboring pack, the Lunar Shadow Pack. What happens when she doesn't want a mate especially, Alpha Parker? * [Highest rank: #1] [WARNING] - mild language and some steamy scenes* [Unedited] Read at your own risk!
