I was just looking through some of my old works and just wanted to share a cute little screenwrite I wrote when I was 14 or so (so around 2015). This was originally for a person that asked me to write a script for their youtube show, but in the end never got back to me. The script had been "gathering dust" ever since.

Wormholes and Wanderlust by MisterCantaloupe

This story follows the young prodigy Grant Alan, a scholar turned telekinetic, surviving in a strange new world after the colossal science vessel, the Halfpace, passes into a future very foreign to him, populated by anthropomorphic creatures that have dominated humanity after a planet-wide war. To ultimately find out what happened to the last vestiges of humanity, Grant must use his wits, friendships and newfound power to navigate this new and dangerous world while an ancient, malevolent force slowly corrupts its new anthro leaders. I wrote this because I was partly inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. Admittedly, my head was kind of in two places when writing this. Part of me wanted to create this really thoughtful, slow-burning, thriller sci-fi story experience with lots of lore and things to mull over, and the other half wanted to make a human x anthro romance story, dripping with provocative scenes, dialogue and drama. I'd say the story has both, but more of the former, which I think is ultimately better than if it was the other way around. I don't claim to be the best, or even good, at storytelling, and there are definitely a couple issues I have in my story, but people have been telling me they really like this story. As of March of 2025, this story does not violate any of Wattpad's Terms Of Service/Content Guidelines; All characters depicted in sex scenes are consenting adults. This story does not promote self harm or violence and does not include illegal sex acts of any kind. Yes there's a healthy dose of complicated/doomed romance because I'm a sucker for writing romance. I think it's fun. My favourite incarnation of the Doctor is perfect for that if I manage to pull it off. This is also the start of my take on the scrapped TimeLord Victorious plot line and the scenic route to get to that outcome. There are also subtle crossovers to Primeval and various other franchises.)) This may have been the life she had wanted once, such a long time ago, but now she missed her own life.... her own Doctor. Can she find a way to turn things back to how they were? or will she have to learn to live with the universe the way it has now become. This story is told through Peri's own eyes and memories as both the story of her new life and how it came about are gradually revealed, culminating in a dramatic conclusion and a choice Peri never expected to be forced to make.
