This tale revolves around the combination of five major archetypes. The Lost, The Izabris, Humans, The Kialusto, and those consumed by Magic. The Izabis, like the Kialuso, have formed cities, states and cultures, the consumed are chaotic creatures that resemble little of their former lives. They devolve into their most basic of needs, resembling the many monsters, creatures and beasts that live across the lands.
Without giving much more away in what is, essentially, a disclaimer, I will say this. The world in which this story will revolve is not the land of Humans. While all aspects cannot survive without their counterpart, that good cannot exist without evil, and order cannot exist without chaos, it is important to note the struggle between the two halves, drives all.
To overcome adversity with the skills that one develops over time, time will eventually claim that which was built with those skills. This isn't to say that there is no point in beginning, rather: no matter how something may end, the beginning is just as important. For without a beginning, there can be no end. And with no end, there can be no change. And change, begets change.
This is about the paths taken, events encountered, and choices made that would coalesce in this Saga.
This piece has been inspired by many of the tales left without an end, and as such Ive opted to give them one, all together.
Without further prelude, let us begin.
Primsharah will become the center of a deadly play, with the powers of the gods themselves at stake ...
***
Refusing to watch his family crumble beneath the weight of poverty, Arran has resorted to stealing from the rich to provide for his mother and sister. His ability to bend light prevents him from being caught ... until one day, he is. His captors have no intention of turning him in, though, instead making him an offer that he cannot resist, but which will change the course of his future forever.
Meanwhile, Princess Serafina, heir to the throne of Primsharah, welcomes an unusual suitor in the royal palace. This stranger brings a dangerous gift for her father: the Sphere of Truths, one of the ten World Artifacts, created by the gods themselves. As the Shah sinks deeper into his obsession with the Sphere, Inna starts experiencing visions about a thief stealing another Artifact, the Amulet of Doom. A deathly curse is bound to the Amulet, and its theft will set in motion a series of events which might destroy Primsharah for good ... and the world along with it.
Together, Arran and Inna flee across the desert to find out who is stealing the Artifacts and why. But Arran's time is limited as the curse flows through his veins, with no hope for salvation save for the stubborn princess who is determined to see his survival.
Magic, desert and creatures of myth weave a tale of fragile hope, large-scale betrayal and fierce friendship between two people whose fates should never have crossed paths at all.
