A bright flash rose through the pitch-black sky. It brightened the impression in front of Hermione's eyes. The ground was muddy and soaked by the heavy rain. Thick raindrops hit her face, wetting her clothes, but she didn't feel it. Numbness was all she felt. She saw it happening, disbelieving. She saw how the light emerged from the tip of her wand and formed a mist around the sixteen year-old boy who stood a few steps from her. The dark trees around them made this night even darker than it already was. The sound of her yelling the spell still rang through the silence, but a shriek from the girl at her left side interrupted that echo. At that moment, a blaze of green light hit the mist in front of the black haired boy. It barely reached his chest before the light bounced back. The girl at Hermione's side raised her wand and cried "Stupefy!"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow through Hermione's bedroom window, the atmosphere crackled with a sense of anticipation-a fluttering of butterflies in the stomach, a quickening of the heartbeats that seemed to echo in unison. Fairy lights twinkled merrily, weaving a tapestry of soft light that danced playfully across the walls. Each flicker seemed to mirror the playful banter and shared laughter that filled the room, a testament to the deep bond of friendship between Harry and Hermione-a bond that had blossomed over years of shared adventures and stolen moments. Books and trinkets adorned every surface, each one a cherished relic of their journey from strangers to confidants. Among them, a photograph of Harry and Hermione caught in a candid moment served as a reminder of the laughter and joy they had shared-a snapshot of a friendship that had stood the test of time. In the corner of the room, a small desk bore witness to their most intimate conversations-a treasure trove of secrets and dreams whispered in the soft light of the moon. Here, amidst scattered parchment and quills, they had laid bare their hopes and fears, finding solace in each other's understanding and support. As they stood bathed in the gentle glow of the setting sun, Harry and Hermione found themselves caught in a moment suspended in time-a fleeting glimpse of something more than friendship, a spark of something deeper that lingered in the air between them. And as they exchanged smiles and shared glances, they knew that no matter what the future held, their bond would remain unbreakable-a testament to the enduring power of friendship and the possibility of something more.
In The Wake Of Crows And Snakes by 0Rose0White0

Visions flashed before Y/n's eyes: a snake coiling to strike, a blinding green light from a wand, and the taste of ash burning her throat. Fear built up, making her tremble and whimper until... a black crow appeared. Its presence brought an unexpected calm, and as it let out a gentle 'caw,' a warm, soothing sensation spread through her. Y/n Claremont, known in the Wizarding world as a 'seer,' had always dismissed her prophetic dreams as mere superstition, convinced they were nothing more than vivid fancies. Her mother, however, had insisted otherwise. As she embarked on her Fourth year at Hogwarts with her best friends, the golden trio, she found her world increasingly intertwined with her visions. Amidst her struggles to reconcile her skepticism with the eerie accuracy of her dreams, Y/n's path crossed with Draco Malfoy. His arrogance and cold demeanor initially seemed to drive them apart, but there was a magnetic tension between them that neither could ignore. Despite his dismissive attitude toward Y/n's seer reputation, Draco's own hidden secrets began to intertwine with her visions. The more Y/n tried to keep him at a distance, the more she found herself drawn to the complexity beneath his icy facade. In moments of unexpected closeness, when their hands brushed or their eyes met with unspoken understanding, Y/n felt a flicker of something more-a tentative connection that defied the barriers of their differences. (I do not own Harry Potter or any of J.K. Rowling's original characters, plot points, or works. All rights are hers. This fan fiction and Y/n's journey are my own creation.)

Sarah Copper made Fred Weasley's pulse race. There was something about the confidence that did it for him. * * * "So, Sarah - " George began. "We were hoping we could have your help?" Fred continued, draping an arm on the back of the sofa. "Sure! What do you guys need?" Sarah asked, pushing her dark hair out of her eyes. George glanced at Fred, waiting for him to explain. "We need a sleeping draught potion," said Fred. He could see the clocks working in Sarah's mind, weighing out possibilities. Finally, Sarah spoke, "Alright, but I think we already have a problem." Sarah reached into her bag, pulling out 'Advanced Potion making 6'. She opened it to the contents, using her finger to single out the sleeping draught. She turned to the page, her eyes glued to the ingredients. "Ok, I'm going to need an apple, which is the easy bit to get," Sarah began, whilst Fred and George leaned over each shoulder to see the problem. They didn't see anything out of the ordinary. "What's the problem, then?" George and Fred chimed. Sarah smiled slightly, and for a moment, the twins thought they'd convinced her. "We need one Newt's spleen, which I ran out of," Sarah replied, her smile gone. It was replaced by a look of determination, mixed with a hint of excitement. "But, I know where we can find one," Sarah added, her voice as low as a whisper. Fred and George glanced at each other in curiosity, hoping Sarah would go on. "What are you saying?" Fred asked when Sarah didn't say anything. She did snap the book shut in excitement, standing up and stuffing it in her bag. Sarah turned back to the twins, who were also standing. "We're going to steal the spleen from Snape - " Sarah began, but Fred and George already knew how this was going to go. "- We're in!" They exclaimed in unison, causing Sarah to laugh. She pulled the door to the bedroom closed, and stayed near the wall as she walked to the stairs. She stopped at the top step, frowning. Through the bottom of the door to the kitchen, she could see light. She could also hear crying, and laughing, evil laughing. She pulled her wand out of the hidden inside pocket of her sleeping pants, and held it tightly as she descended the stairs. Reaching the door, she paused to listen. "Please, I don't know anything," Mama Poppy's voice cried. She sounded terrified. A man chuckled heartlessly. "Oh, but I believe you do. I believe you know everything, and you are just refusing to say. Now, why would you be keeping it from me?" a man's voice sneered. Somehow, Rain knew that voice. She heard Poppy squeak. "I honestly don't know anything. The child was left with me, same as all the others. I don't know, nor did I ask, about her parentage." Her voice was beginning to quiver. "I'm losing my patience little poppy seed," He snarled. A silent moment passed, and then Mama Poppy screamed. Gripping her wand tightly, tears streaming, Rain burst through the door, took aim at the larger figure, and screamed. ------------------------------------ Things will be revealed.....
