The time of the viking is coming to a close. A surge of modernization grips the isles and High King Baldur desperately attempts to keep the fractured holds together; infighting between the Jarls and a rapid increase in attacks by beasts that prowl the isles makes this task a colossal struggle that threatens to end their very way of life.
