The type of girl she thought no one could ever like. She tried so hard to be like everyone else when she lived in her old town, but when she moved she promised to be herself no matter what.
Music poured into her ears from her head phones, the cord trailing down to her Walkman, (Even though it's 21st century, she liked the oldies. Old music, old clothes, old sony Walkman, etc.) Janis Joplin singing 'piece of my heart,' the guitar taking her away.
The people in the back of the bus were too loud, talking nonsense, so she put the volume to max; drowning the world out as she stares out the window. Watching the world pass by in a blur.
