What happens when a Guardian cannot see the "good" that the Traveler has done anymore? When they cannot see beyond the destruction that it brought in its wake? Do they continue this masked falsity? Do they turn their back on the light for the sake of survival when the rest of humanity refuses to see the fault of this "god-gift"?

A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. This story is told from a Ghost's point of view who's Guardian is a trigger happy Hunter. Her Light is strong but her soul defiant. Forged in the Light yet desired by the Darkness. But when she comes face to face with her destiny, will she make the right choice or be swallowed by fate?
