For as long as anyone can remember, the spirits of Hell have mostly stayed silent, sticking to their own lives, doing the job that they're meant to do. Punishing all of the evil souls that came to their gates. They did this job pretty well. After all, what could be more fun than torturing things for all eternity? 
          But when a new demon takes the crown, to become the Devil, the king of Hell, things change. His loyal subjects become more reckless, more determined to kill. The new ruler has a plan, one to wipe out all other existence. Nobody but the king knows the details of this plan. Nobody, but Nalya.
          Being the daughter of the Devil himself, most figure Nalya would be the meanest demon around, but quite the opposite is true. She's fascinated with humankind, and Is disgusted by what her father thinks of them. Determined to make the kingdom what it once was, she and her best friend Persephone venture out into the world above, and the strangeness beyond.
