This is what Kalista Tera "Terror" Cipriano was taught as a child - or rather what was beaten into her. She grows up a fighter, but without the belief that love is possible, or necessary.

This is what was taught to Loki Laufeyson over the course of his life. He was never enough. He grows up a believing that love is a lie life tells people and that the only thing he can trust is his own betrayal.
