Long ago, a human and a vampire fell in love. They dreamed of spending eternity together. But their love was forever cursed. One night, a group of hunters murdered his love in cold blood. Markus de Barencourt swore revenge on those that killed his mate. He vowed never to rest until the men responsible payed for their crime. He would avenge her death and he would never love another.

Zoey soon finds courage and strength to fight him. But he's got the better hand, the Vampire Hunter is stronger and skilled more then her. Will she able to fight him ?
