In a world where life is eternal, and every soul lives on when they die through reincarnation, Felix must live with the fact that when he dies... He will die truly.

As a human Demon hunter in an Angel's world, life isn't easy. Once entered into the world of magic, there is no returning to the normal life of a human. But his job is more dangerous and soul-draining than for an angel, who possesses far greater magical and physical power.
Every mission he completes is bloody and life-threatening, every demon he captures is another in a long line of work, and every day is a struggle to find any meaning in it all.
Yet this doesn't slow him down. Why should it? His soul cursed from birth, he knew how he would die no matter what form it came in.
Painful and slow.
The magic that created his curse had been lost centuries ago, and all he was left with was an unsolvable mystery, and a quickly approaching death.

Felix takes on a job much like the rest but what was thought of as another murder-mystery turns into something much more. Tattoos, warnings and threats lead him down a winding path.
Lies are revealed, and questions asked.

And there he finds the very thing he needed most.
