Shoot first. If you shoot first, the other guy can't shoot you.
Look pretty. No one wants to believe the pretty one's got a gun.
Don't get caught.

This all doesn't matter, however, if all eyes are on you. And a missing king with a wanted foreigner criminal tend to attract lots of attention.

This all started when there was a crown and no king to wear it. Whatever happened to the feeble boy who was supposed to take the throne, no one knew. Most assumed he finally died. The family taking over the royal tradition want to make sure that's the truth, one way or another.

A bounty was placed on the supposed-to-be-king. Dead or alive, if someone can find him, then they get enough money to buy an island. Or, in Ramona's case, at least get off this one. She's hoping she finds a dead body, it'd save time and trouble.

But he's not. All the time and trouble she wanted to save, she realizes all that's out the window. Because she won't let him die, either.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. 20 parts Complete
"With his death I nearly met mine. Till revenge told me to behead the King." Cameron Martinez, an unnoticed girl who lives in Chicago which seems to be Gang Headquarters for the most dangerous gangsters in America. Her oldest brother, Leon, used to be one of them and died because of it, shot in an alley late at night, alone. Leon supported the Martinez family with his earnings from being a gang member while their mother bought dope. With Leon gone, Cameron and her six siblings have rough times financially. She can do one of three things. 1. Join Leon's old gang, the Chicago Kings. 2. Be a stripper like her mother 3. Become a thief Since the first two don't remotely please her, Cameron went with the third choice. But she doesn't steal petty things such as wallets, T.Vs or anything so cheap. She decides to take from those who took the most precious thing from her; the gangs that haunt the streets and terrorize Chicago's citizens. Cameron goes around emptying the pockets of gangsters, stealing the dirty money they don't deserve. Yes, she realizes how dangerous and dumb this is, but she won't let her family starve. People will eventually see Cameron Martinez as a vigilante heroine, but it was never she who did those kind acts. She can't understand how they could think remarkably high of her when she merely wants to put food on the table. * Robbing gangs isn't smart, at all. When the Chicago Kings hear of Cam's doings, they get worried and paranoid. If one insignificant little girl has the balls to steal from them, what will stop everyone else? When Angel Montez, CK enforcer and Leon's best friend gets the command to kill the Vigilante Heroine he has a clear order. One he fully intended to follow through with. What he didn't plan was being interested in her or that she's the younger sister of the dear friend he lost. Now Angel must pick his own destiny instead of following another. Across the school, six students will battle for survival and discover the meaning of trust and betrayal. RAYMOND is the junior valedictorian who talks little, a genius with a mysterious past and unclear intentions. SKYLAR is popular and beautiful, and has tabs on everyone thanks to her newspaper and yearbook class. JESSE is a star athlete on the varsity baseball team, quick to protect his friends but slow to make the right choice. ALYSSA is a kind girl who's a model of perfection, as an Ivy-bound pre-med major and former cheer captain. GRACE sticks to herself and prioritizes her own survival above all else, but has mastered the sport of archery. ROWAN is a freshman trying not to fail half his classes, struggling to live up to his brother's shadow. These six people don't know much about each other at the start of the games, but will find their fates entwined in ways none of them will have expected. As the games go on, friendships will be forged and challenged, and loyalties will be tested. Out of the battlefields will come unbreakable bonds and resilient hope. The clock ticks down.
