Wendy's grown up relying on only herself. She insists on living her life as far from others as humanly possible, dealing with her issues by herself and resisting help when its offered. But a curve ball is thrown at her when she gets a letter from her dead mother explaining that, should she need help, she can rely on Tony Stark. Mulling over the idea for a week, Wendy decides to at least introduce herself and get a few answers to questions that had arrived with the letter. Armed with her anxiety and the letter her mother left her, Wendy opens her journey of love, heartache, joy, pain, and discoveries to come.
This is a fanfiction. I do not own any of the original MCU characters or plots utilized in this story. All MCU plots are referred to in the past, I will not be reciting any MCU plots as if the characters are experiencing them in current time, they will all be summarized in memories as they have already happened.

Confused, the Winter Soldier, aka Bucky, wonders around the streets of New York. He can't go back to HYDRA, they would wipe his memory again. And he wants to remember. He want's to remember who Steve was, the man that he was ordered to kill but was also claimed to be his best friend. He somehow stumbles into a woman's apartment named Amelia, looking for medical help, and for some reason, Amelia decides to help him. As she finds out more about him, she decides to teach him how to live like a human in the 21st century and also helps him to remember his past. But disaster strikes as HYDRA finds Bucky, and when they try to find Steve they also find out that unfortunately he has been kidnapped by HYDRA too. And so their first mission begins. *Rating this PG-13 for mentions of physical torture (canon), and heavy mental health topics such as PTSD, depression, s*icidal thoughts, etc. Read with discretion.* Saving my brain power for the actual content in this story, basically Steve Rogers (MCU) has a younger sister named Rose (I'm so sorry I know this name is really basic but it was really popular in the 20s when she was born) who fought in WWII with him and she and Bucky Barnes were engaged before he "died" and Steve and Rose were turned into ice cubes (derogatory). Rose and Steve are now in modern times (2016) having issues with their superpowered roommates (The Avengers) and trying to get their PTSD ridden third member of the trio (Bucky) to remember that he cares about them. I swear there's actually substance to this story I'm just so unserious please read it so I feel important
