Listen, I'm not going to do one of those "On a dark and stormy night" descriptions, I'm gonna just give you the cold hard truth. Weather you like it or not, or believe it or not is up to you.
Now that that's out of the way my name is Matthew Night. I am what people would call a "lab rat". I was in countless experiments, all because of those stupid scientists and my fa-, sorry I'm getting off track.
Basically, I was used for their sick and twisted experiments. But the main reason I was there, it was so they, changed my DNA, they made me a hybrid, part human and part, well, dragon.
I'll explain the rest inside the book. If you're like me though you're already in and reading my explaining the full thing, so anyways enjoy the story of my suffering and pain. Man it sounds worse when I put it that way.

It isn't safe here. I know you thought I was gone, but I'm here now. Please if come with me I will explain everything." I looked up at him. He was staring at me with defeat. "Daniel, you vanished... Y-You left me there all alone. I cried my heart out, my best-friend was gone. Now... You come back and ask me to with you. I don't know you anymore..." Once upon a time there was a girl name Evangeline King, Eve for short. She lives in a world full of shifters and non-shifters. Her parents were the King and Queen of people that hated shifters. Eve never believed them, because her best-friend was a shifter. His name is Daniel Grey, he could shift into a tiger. He would hide his secret from the others. But one day, Daniel vanished and Eve never saw him again. Over time her parents died, and her name and kingdom were forgotten. Eve became poor and went to live with her friend Amber. Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber. To this very day, Eve still wonders what happened to her golden tiger.Complete

It was as silent as ever, no crickets making a sound, not a single gust of air bothered the night. It was just me and one other, he was like me, a hunter. When I was born my father ran tests over and over that would have killed a normal child but I was different, my DNA patters were different, my genes were mixed. Such things to happen afterwards is what my story is about. There's no such things as 'A Happy Ever After' in my story, it's sick and twisted with darkness around every corner. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.Complete
