This story is about Sophie traveling back in time to erase a bad memory, here's an excerpt:

The sky darkened, a strange smoke billowed out of the once luscious, bright flowers. Sophie turned around, looking for the one person she felt safe with at the moment. "Alvar," Sophie whispered as she backed up a step. Suddenly, an invisible force wrapped around her waist, cutting off her breath. Three people with dark cloaks emerged from the smoke, walking towards her. Sophie tried to break away from the scary men, but the invisible force held her like glue. Another invisible force wrapped around her mouth, blocking her ability to speak. One of the men in cloaks carried a cloth and pressed it to her face. The strong sedatives lulled her to sleep, but not before Sophie noticed something very important. Eyes. Piercing white eyes were inscribed on her kidnapper's cloaks...

Sophie Foster thought she was a human, lived like a human for 12 years, except she wasn't. When she was 5, she started reading other people's minds, and when she was 12, she discovered the truth. A boy found her, and took her to where she belonged, with other elves - because she is an elf too. She never was normal, and even in a place with others of her race, she still didn't quite fit in. But only a few days after her arrival in District 11 - her soon to be home, the council, the rulers of all 12 districts, were overthrown by a group called the Neverseen. And what had before been a covert way of scaring people and their faith in the council became a public tradition - once a year, two people from each district would be selected and told to fight to the death. And when Sophie's adoptive mother gets chosen, Sophie takes her place. But she never did fit in, because she isn't just an elf, she's something else. Something more. But when you have power, you have people who want to steal and destroy it. May the odds ever be in her favour... Extract: "Don't do this," Sophie whispered into her ear. She shook her head. "Mom, Dad - I love you. And I'm sorry," she said to the camera. Sophie's face was red and puffy with tears now, but she didn't care. "Let me be brave," she whispered to herself, inaudible to everyone except her. "Let me be brave, let me be brave, let me be brave." 211 in hungergames - 29.10.20 76 in hungergames- 28.12.20 Based off the bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger

Because There Is a Future

41 parts Complete

Seven years. Short in Elvin time, perhaps, but it can change a life. Lives, even. Doubts and guilt, those inevitable feelings, drove Sophie away from the Lost Cities. Indeed, she has successfully sent the Neverseen to Exile, but the loss cannot simply be ignored. And the deceased's family needs someone to blame it on. So - her. Sophie. The person who did the unforgivable, no matter how good of a cause it was for. The outcast no one wants. The girl who has too many powers for her own good. The Moonlark that has nothing to fulfill.
