"Ember! Slow down!" I heard the four yell. 

I stopped suddenly and everyone sprang forward. I started to cry. 

"Em?" Chandler said placing a hand on my shoulder. I started to get warm that I burned her. She pulled away and I got up and out of the car. Ignoring the fact I stopped in the middle of the road. I couldn't care less. 

"EMBER!" they yelled. I kept walking. Ignoring. My own family didn't want me. That's what broke me.

Ember Angel Curtis was 13 when she left Tulsa for the first time. It was all because of the death of both her mom and dad. She couldn't take it. 

Three years later someone weird happens. Who knew what one trip with one friend and three complete strangers could pull the five of them together? What happens when one of them jeopardizes their safety making them leave their home? What will happen when Ember finally returns home? Most of all, what will happen when her brothers find out about her powers? 

Who would've known curiosity would take them on a journey unlike any other?
