This is a book I wrote in 2017 and published in 2018. I wrote it when I was 15-16 years old, and it shows. It's not great. But this book kicked off my novel-writing career, if you can call it that, and set the stage for the sequel, so here goes. The book itself concerns Anastasia Chapman, who's searching for her missing cousin in the hometown she left ten years ago. Her investigation leads her through the now-changed town and sees her sifting through the pieces of her past to discover who might be behind the disappearance, all while pursued by a killer with a thing for 19th-century poetry. Content Warning: This book contains depictions of violence, gore, racism, homophobia, sexual abuse, and death. If this content will distress you, this book may not be for you. Additionally, some of the characters in this book are horrible people. It should be clear that their views do not reflect the views of the author.
