In a small town, located near Los Angeles, California, a fierce war is coming closer. The Hunters versus the Creatures. The Hunters are magically enhanced killing machines. The Creatures want nothing more but to live in peace. For many years, the Creatures have been fighting long and hard for their rights.
Five "Chosen Ones", at the start of the war, came together and created a safe haven for such creatures: Shadow Wood Academy. Now in the current years, Shadow Wood's safety is compromised and five other "Chosen Ones" are forced to find each other to stop this war and save Shadow Wood.
Meet Scott Parker. Born Sienna Crystal Parker in the year 1998, in a small part of Detroit, Scott is pretty much your average normal person. If you consider normal to be "part of a dying race". At the tender age of fifteen, Scott finally came out to his adoptive parents who kicked him out. His best friend Wally takes him in and gives him a place to stay. While Wally and his family are on a trip, Scott finds a diary left by his mother which had been taken from his house after she was murdered. When finding out who he was, Wally came back early and handed him a note. It told him to flee the state of Michigan and go to Shadow Wood Academy.
