Ellie has always wanted to be able to race on the tracks and the big races like the Triple Crown. Every day since she was ten, she went to Churchill Downs to watch all of the horses racing around the track. When she goes to the North American Racing Academy for two years and learns what it takes to be a jockey, she decides to pursue her dreams of becoming a jockey after she graduates at the age of 23. 
     But it seems like everyone is against her doing so. She tries to ignore them and begins to make a little extra money to enter her first local race and begins her dream. But, when an accident that Ellie didn't see coming, happens, her dreams are crushed.
