I can feel her dying, I just found her and now she's gone just like that. At least it's raining, it'll cover our scents long enough for me to hide our baby. Why didn't I have her run with our child instead, at least then they would be safe! It's me those bastards are after in the first place!

"F***!" I whine after our little girl starts to whimper and wiggle against her blankets, the rain had woken her. "Hush hush, little one, we will be there soon." I promise her. That's right, I have to live, at least until I know she is safe.
