Tyler and Josh were separated after their flock was defeated in a war with humans. Tyler was illegally sent to a secret research facility while Josh was taken to a city and treated like a human, expected to act like one.
Neither of them felt happy in their new homes. Tyler was always tormented and the only person that gave him hope was in the same dangers because of him. Josh felt stuck and uncomfortable and the only person that agreed with him had the same dream to escape.
Escape seems easy at first, but when their opportunities arrive, they find that it's a lot harder than they thought to be free.
