Elliot (Li) Jameson is a sixteen year old boy struggling with having multiple personalities. He is a very sweet, kind, loving, honest, and gentle person. But his other personality, Ellyot is a cruel, demeaning, harsh, violent, power hungry, and all out evil girl who only wishes to hurt people; especially the one who is keeping her from doing what she desires doing,Elliot. Ellyot is sick of being stuck walking around as a small, defenseless, wimpy boy. She has made it her mission to destroy the other personality, and if she cannot then she will make sure Li destroys himself, even if it means that Ellyot must fall too. Li fears for himself and everyone else every single day, and he can't even tell anyone because he knows what his alter personality would do.Anything that the therapist and doctors tried to do would only agitate Ellyot and make her stronger, thus more dangerous. The two Elliot's are desperate to destroy one another, the two personalities know there is a possibility that they might need to sacrifice themselves just to do away with the alter ego. But who will destroy who first? The innocent, gentle young man, or the insane, menace.Good or evil? In the real world, the bad guys can and do win on occasion, and this is certainly not a fairytale. Follow Elliot as he and his alter-ego learn exactly what it's like to destroy yourself.
Even without the pressure from his parents, Robert Jameson (although he prefers to be known as Bobby) is beyond clever. The problem is, brains don't earn you friends. And when you're surrounded by boys who care about the things you know nothing about and girls who wouldn't be seen dead with someone so uncool, you tend to spend a lot of time either alone or being bullied.
Angel Reeds is the worst behaved student in the school. Constantly getting into fights, talking back to teachers and not doing homework, she's far from being aptly named. But when you've got brains like Bobby has, you notice things. And he's noticed things about Angel. She never smokes. She never drinks. She never does drugs. And every other typical bad boy or girl in their school is obsessed with them. And she tries in school other than with homework - she and Bobby are both in the top class of their year. So Bobby can't help but think there's more to her.
Well, when Angel rescues him from a bully and declares herself his personal bodyguard (for some strange reason) Bobby figures this is his chance to find out.
