Telling your crush you like them is one thing, but adding a few swear words and some explicit details is a whole other thing.
It was either staying at home and hoping the text would somehow magically get deleted or actually going out and try deleting the message before he saw it. We of course decided to try and delete the message, if only we hadn't chosen the latter then we wouldn't be here sitting in a police car on our way to the police station.

"Bianca what the fuck was that?" David says to me as we walk inside his house. The whole car ride was silent, no one uttered a word and I don't know why. I hate silence. Silence allows the brain to think about a lot of shit over and over. He already had a lot of things replaying in his head. He probably thought about how to reply to my comments. He just had this whole conversation planned out already. "What was what?" I reply sitting down on the couch. I sigh of relief that I finally got a chance to take off my heels. "Y'all got something going on between y'all, don't y'all?" David replies standing up "I don't know what you're talking about" I unzip my jacket sitting it down beside me. I knew my nonchalantness would piss him off. "Bianca stop fucking playing with me" David spat back. He's not the type to raise his voice during an argument. You knew he was mad when he starts cursing at you and says your name all in the same sentence. "I'm not doing anything. I don't know what or who you're talking about David" I take out my phone and start to text Parish telling her how the event went. "You fucking Chris aren't you?" I just looked up at him making a stank face and then back down at my phone. "Hello? I'm talking to you" David stands in front of me. I wasn't in the mood to bicker back and forth with him right now. I could've just told him yes, but he didn't want to know the truth. He smacks my phone out of my hand. I look up at him "Are you fucking him?!" He yells at me and that took me off guard. "No!" So forbidden it's borderline illegal. It feels illegal in a town like this. It was just sex. Ridiculous, I hate you sex with the one guy in school I had no business being with. But the line between love and hate blurs easily. And in a town like this, where secrets are hard to keep, we're playing with fire. Quitting him doesn't work, especially when he wants me even worse than I want him. Despite how much he hates me, despite that we were destined to hate each other. Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents.
