Grace Williams lost everything when her parents died in a freak car crash the night of her last A-level exam. Her brother took her in temporarily until she moved into her house in university. But now, at her university graduation, it dawns on her it is time to be independent.

After her graduation, Grace is approached by men who claim to have known her parents, and their secret work that even Grace didn't know about. They offer Grace a job, one that she was handpicked for when she never even applied. Her "gift", something extra she was born with, giving her a boost in life, was the perfect match for the job. Unwillingly, she accepts the job - learning she is now working for the Government and protecting none other than the Royal family themselves.

However, even the Royals aren't who they seem and hide dark secrets among them, ones that can endanger their lives and those around them. Grace, very fast, has to learn who to trust and who she cannot, and very quickly learns that not everyone she meets is who they seem, regardless of Status.

Eton College is the world's most prestigious boarding school. It's also just opened it's coveted doors to the female half of the population. When Grace was forced to take the entrance exams and subsequently got in, she assumed that leaving home to go to boarding school wouldn't be all that different to living with her parents who had never paid her much attention. And she was right. For a while. She thought that she'd have to deal with pranks and tones of sexual innuendos. Instead what gives her trouble is the Eton vocabulary, classes on a Saturday and being thrust into the centre of things when actually, she's perfectly happy to sit in the background being ignored. She's also being filmed for a documentary about the school and is suddenly made moderately famous. All that sort of goes on a back burner though because before she knows it, she's on the rowing team and best friends with (and falling for) the world's most eligible bachelor - the Crown Prince of Great Brittan and the Commonwealth, His Royal Highness Benjamin "just call me Ben" the Prince of Wales. Surrounded by new friends who have normal relationships with their parents and gaining confidence from them, Grace comes to question the way she was raised for the first time, but can she and her parents carve out a new relationship when they are so far apart and hardly see one another? And just how do you go about being the best friend of the future king? COMPLETED BOOK I was trained to be a weapon for the kingdom. I was forced into servitude to the King after my family was ripped from me. My new life was covered in the blood of my family...and now I had to protect the royal family who ordered my parents' death. They're all monsters, except for him...he was my charge and as much as I wanted to hate him, the prince was nothing like his vicious father. He was a warm light in my cold and dark world. I was supposed to be controlled, cold, calculating and deadly, but he made me crave freedom, warmth and all the things I thought died with my family. I no longer knew my path...but I knew it led to him. ****** Don't hesitate to let me know what you think of my book or if you see grammatical errors/plot holes! *16+ is recommended...sex is implied but not described (I came up with that little rhyme while I was brushing my teeth this morning!) and there are scenes of violence.
