Give and Take

Robert is hardworking man with a good enough life; a steady job, sufficient money in his pockets and a beautiful soon-to-be wife that he loves.

But at the altar of his wedding, he makes the worst mistake of his life and cancels the ceremony in a brief moment of indecision and doubt of his love.

And a while later, the newspapers reveal that his ex-fiance has committed suicide as a result of his jilting. He is racked with shame, guilt and regret and, after mourning for her death and internally torturing himself for his rash actions, he decides to try to forget her and all that has happened.
