For as long as werewolves have been around, the packs have been lead by a strong Alpha male and the title passed down to a direct descendant, such as a son, or another wolf of Alpha blood in a situation where an heir is lacking.
So how did Ambrosia, a middle ranked female wolf, end up with the spirit of an Alpha wolf during the first full moon after her 25th birthday? She has no fucking clue.
Encourage by the guidance of her wolf spirit Ambrosia will take over her pack and strive to bring equality among the werewolf community to a new level. She will have to learn to balance traditions of her culture with the progressive evolution the Gods are blessing them with. Gaining the respect of her people will not be easy, changing their views on the title of Alpha will be even harder. But she was chosen for a reason.
Ambrosia will also need to address her hardest quest of all, finding her mate.
That is, assuming she has one.
