This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. Life was so simple. So much more carefree and just generally free to do as you please and not have to worry about every little thing. Key word being 'was'. The second you receive your wolf you know your in trouble. It's when the rolling hills and valleys turn into mountains and canyons taunting you to enter. But you can help it cause to get to the other side and pass the finish line you gotta climb those mountains and fall deep into the canyons. But of course teenagers even like obstacles especially when they are still tying to fun themselves. Some may be more outspoken then others and some may be the the tiniest bit too mature but they have to learn one way or another. But what happens when a pack of wolves flirting at first start being the bigger picture and that being this free wasn't going to last forever. Feelings come and go just like people but the day you turn of age that also changes. Mates is a hard word to swallow and acceptance becomes a challenge but not as challenging as sticking together as things are thrown their way, distractions are made and a few too many lies but too deep. Two Faces, One Wolf will be the only clue.
