Marked Wolves
The Marked Wolves were the harshest warriors in their kingdom. For years they fought off the Cold Blooded asking no help from the other three shifter tribes, Lion, Hawk and Bears. Since the beginning they were the only tribe created by the Original Witches to not be blessed with a soulmate. Instead the witches blessed them with Immortality, and as The Lions, Hawks and Bears loved and lived out their lives, the same Marked Wolves roamed through the kingdom killing and rarely dying in battle.
A thousand years had passed since all four shifter tribes were created, and now the Marked Wolves were as strong as ever but falling in numbers. They were made to fight, not to love and have families. Fate seems to be wanting a change, and it will come as a huge shock, especially to a few young women.
In a world where the men aren't human and women were matched perfectly for them, Bonnie Smith dreamt of the day she'd go to the annual mating ceremonies. Bonnie thought that finding her mate would diminish the fear of the Cold Blooded Tribe that ran through everyones veins, only to find out the fairy tale isn't all that it is brought up to be. The last ceremony of that year, Bonnie knew she would have to meet her mate on that dark night. What she didn't expect was the harsh treatment she'd receive after.

The Bloodline of Wolves
Magic should never have found its way into human lands and nature always must have a balance. When man first used magic to turn to wolf, nature's scales were tipped as the wolves ravaged any human territory they desired. In nature's attempt to find balance once again, man rose from the dead. His lethal bite reduced the numbers of wolf packs, however it was the venom and bloodlust that had unprecedented consequences. Humans faced the fate of falling prey to the wolves or victim to the blood drinkers. Nature finally bound both creatures to curses in order to bring power back to the humans. Blood drinkers were condemned to a life in shadows and their venom that could create others became immensely diluted. The wolves were condemned to their own bloodlines, no wolf can be made unless born, their only magic was reduced to what runs in their veins. And so nature found balance in the separation of the three worlds; blood drinkers, wolves, and humans. All will be well in the human lands again-- except curses cannot be created without a loophole. When centuries pass and the curses have taken its rightful control of the blood drinker and wolf species, the scales will finally tip in the favor of the humans. The wolf born of just one drop of magic in their blood will create the key that combines the three worlds once more.
