It is the Year 2023, Virtual Reality has reached greater heights with the Creation of the Anchors. VEX, the creators of the Anchors had released a Game known as Gaia Battlefront, which itself is the Apex of Virtual Reality. Fuyumori Haruka, a social outcast enters the game but unknownst to him, he will enter more than just the world of Virtual Reality and ends up reuniting with an old friend.

After being convinced by a friend to try out the latest hit VRMMO, Fallen Arc 2: Online, Hakeem reluctantly logs in... only to discover his original RPG character is still active - but the server wipes from the first game should have erased all his progress. Instead, he finds himself holding onto a rare account, one that was untouched during the server reset. NPCs once thought to be mindless are beginning to show strange signs of sentience... but only for Hakeem. His character, originally coded for an RPG, behaves oddly in this new MMO world, pushing him into a style of play that doesn't quite fit the rules of the new game. As the world evolves in response to his actions, and the main storyline seems to follow wherever he goes, Hakeem starts questioning whether this world is really a game at all. Life, the most realistic, in-depth, virtual reality game on the market. The game lets people go into the video game and do a plethora of things. For example, survival games. On the 10th anniversary of the game, Doctor studios, the company that made the game, decided to host an event. Across the world, tournaments will be held, to see who can survive the longest in their game. Being given 100 days, a hundred players per tournament must survive. The rework for doing so is 100000 dollars and the opportunity to play in the bigger tournaments and win more money. But that 100000 dollars will be divided amongst the survivors, which meant that players would be battling amongst themselves to get the money for themselves. In one of these tournaments, was a boy who lived in a small town. After arguing with his friends, the boy ends up competing for solo without them. He soon finds himself as the most wanted person on that server. Will he survive on his own? Or will the multitude of small teams crush him? Find out in... "Life Is Fun". "The controls are weird... Maybe if I move around a bit it would calibrate?" That was the first thing Reitsu Yujitsu had thought. Not knowing what was to come in the near future, with him making a profit off this game. With his extremely broken VRMMO character, which he gets in the near future. MMOs and RPGs in general, are all loved by Reitsu Yujitsu with no exaggeration. He spends everyday playing and leveling up. Yet still has time to go to school and hang out with his friends who are also very interested in games. Then, VRMMOs were introduced on the 18th of August and they were the new trend in society for gamers. Reitsu was very excited but all of the required equipment to play the game was sold out and he spent a week sulking in his room or in the corner of the classroom (he was forced to go to school), until he felt better. But, his all interesting friend, Rea Zia, gave him a present on his birthday which was on the 31st of August. A present which changed his life and the way he lived. Note: This story is set in the future and has no reference to real life names, I just thought it up and everything in this story is fake! ⇥M2xBmks0⇤
