VEX, the creators of the Anchors had released a Game known as Gaia Battlefront, which itself is the Apex of Virtual Reality. Fuyumori Haruka, a social outcast enters the game but unknownst to him, he will enter more than just the world of Virtual Reality and ends up reuniting with an old friend.

The rework for doing so is 100000 dollars and the opportunity to play in the bigger tournaments and win more money. In one of these tournaments, was a boy who lived in a small town. After arguing with his friends, the boy ends up competing for solo without them.
