There are few vampires left in the world and it's all your fault. You had no choice, all of them kept going into blood rages and wouldn't follow the rules you set for them. You vowed to never create another beast and declared that the remaining vampires are no longer allowed to feed on human, meaning they will all die soon. With nothing much left to live for, you decided that Beacon Hills is the perfect place to go to live your last days.
When you got there, you went to live with the Druid named Deaton to wait out the time. You never expected to meet the true alpha in that time. You didn't expect to fall for his charm and his chiseled jaw. You didn't expect to fall head over heels for the alpha.
