Humans and androids made a temporary truce until they found middle ground, ending the revolution short. The humanoid creations lived within the society freely where hate still remained in the streets of Detroit.

Under the shelter of his partner's home, Connor meets Jane Lewis, an old family friend of the Andersons, the only thing close to family left for Lt. Hank Anderson. Like oil and water, Jane and Connor's beliefs and personalities clash making a fine line between human and machine. But as he learns more about her, the more he gets pulled in by a unknown feeling.

Which reeled him into something much more bigger. A war he has to fight. In the end Connor has to chose a side, in which both worlds were controlled by fear. 

Where would Connor stand?

As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Everything seemed fine, until an android walked into the bar. Everyone watched as he approached us. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective (l/n), my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife."

Even though you were happy with career, you weren't happy with the fact that you were alone, meaning by love wise. You were so sad that you wanted someone to love and have them love you back, you didn't want to be alone for the rest of your life. Most of the time, you were thinking about your last relationship you had with your ex boyfriend and you never want to go back to that relationship. But then, you met Connor, you two started having feelings for each other and you were always there for each other. He promises you that he won't abandon you and that he won't let anyone hurt you. Also, Connor is already a deviant and free from CyberLife and Amanda. He is still friends with Hank and he helps Markus with Jericho, he sometimes help with Hank with the DPD but he mostly helps Markus with Jericho. I hope you guys enjoy this story! :).
