Carla is a 15 year old who HAD a passion for horses, before her huge accident riding a pinto named Hearts. Carla and Hearts had cut all the cows in the pen but when it came to the last one, a bull everything went wrong. the bull instead of running away he turned and charged her and the horse spooking hearts making her rear then buck as high as she could sending Carla flying into the bars of the cow pens breaking her leg, jaw, and arm. she damaged her spine and was off for a whole year. she never ever wanted to ride a horse again that was until there mom bought a new horse named Puddle a 4 year old palamino blanket appaloosa, he is scared at everything and he only trusts one person out of that family.... Carla. what will Carla do with the horse who hates her parents and her older brother Zayne   and who only likes her? join the series of horses and heart warming bonds.

Jamie's biggest rival was Samantha Waters. Samantha was the best jockey around. But when Jamie beats Samantha in a bet, things start going down hill. Samantha gets jealous. Will Jamie be able to beat Samantha in their biggest race yet? Or does Samantha have a plan to make Jamie lose? So, there may be a few things I have in here that don't happen in the racing industry but it's not about how accurate it is. This book is meant to be fun and enjoyable to read.
