In 2022, a virtual reality massively multiplayer online role playing game called Sword Art Online is released. With the NervGear, a helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds.
On November 6, 10,000 players log into the SAO's mainframe cyberspace for the first time, only to discover that they are unable to log out. Akihiko Kayaba, the creator of the NervGear and Sword Art Online appears and tells the players that they must beat all 100 floors of Aincrad, a steel castle which is the setting of SAO, if they wish to be free. Those who suffer in-game deaths or forcibly remove the NervGear out-of-game will suffer real-life deaths.
There are thousands upon thousands of players we could follow. But our story revolves around two siblings. Beta testers for Sword Art Online. They have the Knowledge and Allies around them, and used right...
They may just survive this Death Game.

One in particular stood out from its peers, an upcoming game called "Sword Art Online" that attracted the attention of millions; yet, only 10,000 copies have been sold. What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. You know, from what I've look for, there's not a lot of SAO:IF stories on here. So I'm gonna make one. Now, what if the MC wasn't the only Integral Factor? What if there were others? And those others, just so happened to be friends? It seems practically impossible to most people, with so many floors to beat it feels almost pointless trying... But Kaito refuses to stop and will keep on going and his best friends, Otashi and Rikka, alongside his new friend, Koharu. They might see Kaito as the very motivation they need to keep going. Kaito, Koharu and friends, will make their way through perilous dangers, scary dungeons, and trembling tensions if escape is going to be an option that can even chosen for them.
