This series can be read in any order, but I recommend that you read this one first because it tells valuable information about the soulmate universe in it. I found the picture on google images; it is in no way mine. The picture in the first chapter is what I imagine Ariella to sort of look like.

*COMPLETED* In this world on your 15th birthday, one fingernail gets painted a certain color. And your soulmate has the same color. You can't paint over it, but you can paint the rest of your nails the same color if you want to hide it. But after a while you can't anymore. The universe stops the nail polish from working. Because you have to find your soulmate, even if you don't want to. (Original Idea by me)

Nico had been mistreated all their life, by their father, stepmother, siblings, and even their friends. When an invitation arrives from the royal family, inviting them all to a ball, will the fates finally give them a break? Will has always wanted to fall in love. To find his soulmate and be whisked away from his life. He was a prince, yes, but he didn't like his life. Being controlled all the time, having his life already picked out for him, none of it. He would rather be poor than have servants constantly waiting at his beck and call. When a mysterious stranger arrives at his ball, will his dream come true? Soulmates are decided before you're born. Everyone's traits are carefully picked to match the other so they are perfect for each other. Tattoos appear on your body to match your soulmate's personality, favorite things, and important events every birthday you have. Will has 19, Nico has 18. When you meet the other, you get one final tattoo that represents the two of you together and when you learn their name, it appears under it. This is a soulmate Cinderella au. Only first few chapters will be the Cinderella part and then I'm going to write what happened after for the rest. By the way, I'm not nonbinary and am used to writing Nico as a boy so please correct me if I make a mistake with the pronouns or something isn't accurate. She'd always wanted to meet her soulmate when she was young, so she'd know what the world was like in full color sooner rather than later. Now that she's 17, she's getting a little bit impatient, especially once her brother finds his soulmate. She runs into her soulmate one day, but then everything changes.

"You're the color to my black and white world" has become literal in a future, dystopian society. Scientists have found a way to make people unable to see color until they meet their true soulmate. They felt as that not being able to see color would stop civil unrest and discriminatory barriers, and by the time they met their soulmate people would be mature enough to make proper societal decisions. Linnea, the story's main character, believes her childhood best friend is her soulmate, but she soon learns that there are tricks to this color system. Sometimes, color can be falsely seen in faint hues and sometimes, the person you thought was your soulmate really isn't. When she meets Jade, she learns that perhaps your soulmate isn't exactly the person you imagined.
