The rules are simple.
Rule number one: don't get caught. I guess you could say she caught me, or in other words, knew I was messed up, but that's not really what this rule means. The rule states "don't get caught," as in don't get caught-up. That's the hard part. Don't let yourself get caught up in the rounds of the game. If you do, you might slip up, which leads me to our second rule.
Rule number two: don't get attached. Everything about her has my mind racing. Her fragility was enticing, and I continue to think about fastening myself to her. But if I break this rule, we'll both lose. In fact, she'll break, and I would be the one with the hammer. This leaves us with our last rule.
Rule number three: don't let anyone in. Build your walls up, because as soon as they start disintegrating, it results in an automatic loss. This rule is special. As soon as you go against rule number three, automatically, all the rules have been disobeyed. You let them in, you will get caught up, and then attached.
Other than that, everything is fair game.
