April Willis believed in love and happiness before her mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. She believed in fairy tales and happy endings. That Santa left at least one gift for every kid under the tree and child and drug abuse only existed on TV. But as her mother grew more and more sick she gave up on life and all her childish beliefs. Her abusive step father did not help matters at all, and her only way out came in the form of a boy named Joseph Bryson. Promises of freedom from her shattered life and daily beatings, she follows the boy into a world unknown..a very dangerous one. Her whirlwind adventure into drugs, sex, and lies marks the start of her brand new life. The question is if she's really meant for it....or if she has a different path.
