'nobody even cares’

it's one of her only thoughts the whole lesson and i can’t block it.

i can’t detach myself from her mind; i'm locked in her thoughts.

‘everyone hates me, i'm worthless, and stupid and i need to go away’

i can’t stop myself from physically feeling her pain.

i feel her inner conflict, and i hear her make her decision.

‘tonight it will all be over’

so i break the only rule i've ever followed,

and i say

“no it won’t.”
