In this world there are two names on everyone's wrist; the person's enemy and their soulmate. Each person has no distinction between the two of the names, for that is something they must find out for themselves. But once they find their soulmate, the names disappear, so they will no longer have the name of their enemies marked upon them and they can live in eternal happiness. But sometimes, the names can get confused. After all, who says you can't meet your enemy first? Legend has it that when you meet your soulmate, you and only you can see a countdown on their wrist. The countdown indicates how many days your soulmate has left to live. Your soulmate can't see their own countdown, only you can. So, what will you do with this information? Will you tell them their lifespan or keep it a secret? What if it says they'll die in a year? Do you lie to them? Ok, different scenario. What if you were at volleyball practice, just a random example, and you happened to notice some writing on one of your teammates wrists? So, naturally, you move a little closer to see what the writing is and realise that it's a number. Anyway, you ask your best friend about it and they say they can't see anything. Congratulations, you found your soulmate. Only problem is, you're both highly convinced that you hate each other. Life really be like that sometimes. How would you deal with it? We were all born with a tattoo on our left wrist; a countdown to the exact moment we would first look into the eyes of our soul mate; and I was going to meet mine tonight, around 8. My parents were soul mates; my grandparents were too; my brother had met his a few months ago and he’d been ridiculously in love since then. Everything around me seemed to work out just the way it was supposed to but I couldn’t help but be really skeptical about the whole thing. A part of me thought that people felt like they had to spend the rest of their life with the person that stood in front of them when their timer read ‘O’ and therefor convinced themselves that they were in love. Love was more than that to me; and no tattoo was going to tell me who I had to give my heart to, that was for sure.

This timer is a twin to your soul mates timer. You're genetically matched based on the time of your birth. It's just on you to find the other. . . Can each find true love before the time is up?
